"There is a severe need to help underprivileged individuals and families in Central Florida," explained Hew. "I am eager to serve on the Community Food & Outreach Center Board to help continue the organization's mission of providing food, education and employment opportunities to those in need."

Hew's leadership experience has spanned a number of community-based and professional organizations, including The East Orlando Chamber of Commerce, the Junior League of Greater Orlando, the Orange County Bar Foundation, the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association, The Florida Bar and the Orange County Bar Association.

In her legal practice, Hew manages a general civil practice, handling a range of litigation cases, alternative dispute resolution and appellate matters.

She earned her undergraduate degree from Loyola University of the South and her law degree from Tulane University School of Law.

The Community Food & Outreach Center helps those in need to transform their lives by providing food, crisis care, opportunities for education and employment, and a hand to families, individuals and children who are fighting to break the cycle of poverty.
