MONTGOMERY, Alabama - Lawyers from across the state have been selected for the 2014 class of the Alabama State Bar's Leadership Forum.

After an in-depth selection process, 26 attorneys were selected for the program, which trains future leaders. Participants must have practiced law for at least five and no more than 15 years. They are selected based on leadership qualities and community service.

Leadership Forum candidates must attend five sessions and undergo a rigorous education and training program focusing on leadership, ethics and career development.

"The lawyers selected to participate in this program represent the future face of Alabama's legal profession," said State Bar President Anthony A. Joseph, of Birmingham. "This program has received critical acclaim from the American Bar Association for its innovative, thoughtful and exceptional content, for its powerful and continuing impact on emerging leaders in the bar community and for the extraordinary example it has established."
