Burr & Forman Boosts Corporate And Tax Practice With Addition In Mobile

Mobile, Ala. July 15, 2016 - Burr & Forman LLP announces the addition of Chip Tait as counsel in the firm's Corporate and Tax Practice. Based in the Mobile office, Tait advises businesses on a variety of transactional and operational matters.

Tait is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and insurance producer, experience that gives him a unique perspective in counseling clients. He advises businesses in their day-to-day legal, corporate, banking and finance, real estate and related matters.

Active in the Mobile community, Tait has been involved in a number of local and congressional political campaigns, provided support by obtaining significant donations for the winner of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Alabama/Gulf Coast Chapter's "Man of the Year" in 2015, and previously served as vice-president of the Alabama State Bar's Young Lawyers Section.

Tait earned his undergraduate, masters and law degrees from The University of Alabama.
