The following is a brief summary of current port conditions and operations following Hurricane Nate.
Hurricane Nate made landfall 7-8 October 2017, first in Southeast Louisiana near the mouth of the Mississippi River, and later near Biloxi, Mississippi. Impacts and effects on maritime facilities, aids to navigation, etc., continue to be assessed.
The following information is current as of 1800 CST / 2300 Zulu yesterday (8 October 2017), and is taken from the USCG Sector Mobile’s Marine Safety Information Bulletin (MSIB) 19-17, a copy of which is attached hereto.
