Birmingham, Ala. March 6, 2018 – Burr & Forman LLP announces that Birmingham-based network engineer Eddie Saunier will serve as Chief Security Officer (CSO) of the firm effective immediately. In this role, Saunier will lead Burr & Forman’s overall information security program and will assume responsibility for managing the firm’s technology and information management compliance and risk .

Since joining the firm in 2002, Saunier has been responsible for managing the core servers and networking infrastructure as senior systems engineer. He obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification granted by the International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC)², a globally recognized standard of achievement in the industry, which distinguishes professionals for proficiency in designing, engineering, implementing and running information security programs.
Saunier earned his undergraduate degree in materials engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
