11 Burr & Forman Attorneys Named To Florida Trend's 2018 "Legal Elite"

Burr & Forman LLP announces that eleven of its attorneys have been recognized by Florida Trend magazine on its 2018 "Legal Elite" list. Included on this year's list are Jacksonville-based attorneys Greg Lunny, Adrian Rust, Troy Smith, J. Ellsworth Summers and Scott Thomas; Orlando-based attorney Eric S. Golden; and Tampa-based attorneys Harvey S. Kauget, John Schifino and William "Bill" J. Schifino, Jr. Amy Baruch and Justin Bennett, also of Burr's Tampa office, were named as "Up and Comers." Greg Lunny, managing partner of Burr & Forman's Jacksonville office is recognized as "Legal Elite" in the area of Commercial Litigation. His focus is on intellectual property, products liability, class action, regulatory compliance, governmental, land-use, and construction litigation.

Adrian Rust is recognized as a "Legal Elite" in the area of Banking & Financial. His practice focuses primarily on serving lenders in all aspects of commercial loan litigation, mortgage foreclosures, lender liability defense, and other matters related to defaulted loan workouts and collection.

Ellsworth Summers is recognized as "Legal Elite" in the area of Bankruptcy & Workout Law. His practice focuses on assisting lenders in commercial loan litigation in bankruptcy, federal and state courts. Ellsworth has extensive experience with commercial foreclosures, workouts, business reorganizations and liquidations, distressed asset acquisitions, special counsel assignments and adversary proceedings.

Troy Smith is recognized as "Legal Elite" in the area of Construction Law. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation within the construction industry including contract drafting and litigation, licensing, lien disputes, state and federal public job disputes, construction defect, delay and disruption claims.

Scott Thomas is recognized as "Legal Elite" in the area of Commercial Litigation. Scott is a general commercial litigator, focusing on complex commercial litigation including real estate and land use matters, business torts, IP and contract disputes.

Eric Golden, managing partner of Burr & Forman's Orlando office, is recognized as a "Legal Elite" in the area of Bankruptcy & Workout law. His practice focuses on representing financial institutions, non-traditional lenders, special servicers and other secured and unsecured creditors in state and federal court litigation and in chapter 11 bankruptcy cases throughout Florida and across the country.

Bill Schifno, managing partner of Burr & Forman's Tampa office, is recognized as a "Legal Elite" in the area of Business Law. His practice focuses on a variety of litigation and trial practice, including securities litigation and arbitration, professional malpractice litigation, employment litigation, and intellectual property litigation.

Amy Baruch is recognized as an "Up and Comer" in the area of Marital Law. Amy focuses her practice on commercial litigation, appellate, and family law.
