Nashville Partner Matthew Kroplin Earns Certification in Healthcare Compliance

Nashville, TN., September 13, 2018 - Nashville Partner Matthew Kroplin recently passed the CHC exam to become certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC). The CHC designation is offered by the Compliance Certification Board, an arm of the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA), and requires individuals to demonstrate an understanding of the practice of healthcare compliance at a variety of levels.

At Burr, Matt is a partner in the firm's health care and business litigation sections. He provides counsel to a broad range of health care industry clients, including providers, medical groups, hospitals, and surgery centers, as well as to product manufacturers and suppliers, financial institutions, and other business entities and individuals.

Matt's experience in the health care industry involves representing clients in health care related litigation and administrative actions, regulatory compliance, certificate of need applications and appeals, facility and licensure matters, fraud and abuse, telemedicine and telehealth, cybersecurity, and general advice on various federal and state laws directly impacting the health care industry.

Matt is involved with the Nashville Health Care Council, Leadership Health Care, the Nashville Medical Group Management Association, the Health Care Compliance Association, and the American Health Lawyers Association.
