Mobile, AL, January 3, 2019 - Mobile Partner Robert C. Matthews was recently named to the "Forty Under Forty" 2018 class by Mobile Bay Magazine. Honorees from both sides of the Bay were recognized for their professional excellence, leadership, philanthropies and their commitment to the Bay area community.

Matthews joins fellow Burr & Forman partners and former "Forty Under Forty" honorees Ricardo Woods and John Browning.

At Burr, Robert is a partner in the firm's Lending Practice Group where he represents financial institutions, privately owned companies, and municipalities in a complete range of real estate and financial transactions.

Robert focuses on a wide variety of dealings, including commercial and industrial real estate, entity formation, liquidations, acquisitions, financing and internal governance. He also advises banks and individuals with the administration of estates and trusts.

Robert is involved with the Center for Real Estate & Economic Development and Leadership Mobile. He was named a "Rising Star" by Alabama Super Lawyers and Mid-South Super Lawyers.
