Jacqueline Simms-Petredis Elected to Serve on Board of Directors for Hillsborough County Bar Association

Tampa Partner Jacqueline Simms-Petredis was recently elected to serve on the board of directors for the Hillsborough County Bar Association. Jacqueline will serve a one-year term in the role of director. All officers and directors will be installed on Thursday, June 6th at the Chester H. Ferguson Law Center.

At Burr, Jacqueline serves as a Partner in the firm's Financial Services group with a focus on financial litigation and compliance. She assists clients in matters such as foreclosures, bankruptcy adversary proceedings, compliance issues and direct filed law suits.

Jacqueline advises clients and in-house counsel in litigation arising under the Truth in Lending Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Florida Consumer Collections Practices Act, Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, among others. She is also a past-president of the Young Lawyer’s Division of the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
