Burr Forman McNair Continues to Expand Hilton Head Office With Addition of John Carroll
Burr Forman McNair announces the addition of associate attorney John Carroll to the firm’s Hilton Head office. Carroll joins the Real Estate practice group where he represents clients in all aspects of commercial and residential real estate transactions.
“John’s addition to our Hilton Head office is in direct response to our growing client needs and opportunities,” said Walter Nester, Burr Forman McNair’s Hilton Head and Bluffton managing partner. “His diverse range of real estate experience, ranging from contract negotiation and drafting, zoning, covenants and restrictions, and regulatory licensing and litigation are an asset to our team. We are pleased to have him join us.”
Carroll works with developers of some of South Carolina’s most prestigious resort communities throughout Beaufort County representing buyers and sellers of real estate throughout the state.
He is admitted in South Carolina and the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. Active in both the legal and real estate communities, Carroll was recently appointed by the Mayor of Hilton Head Island to serve on the Town’s “Our Plan” Comprehensive Planning and Land Use Task Force. He is a member of Hilton Head Island’s Bluffton Chamber of Commerce’s Government Affairs Committee and a 2017 graduate of the Chamber’s Leadership Program.
Additionally, Carroll has been the recipient of the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyer Division’s President’s Award, South Carolina Bar Young Lawyer Division’s Star of the Quarter Award and was recognized by South Carolina Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in real estate practice.
Carroll received his undergraduate degree from University of South Carolina and his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
