Bryan practices in the firm’s Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy group. His main focus is to help creditors work through problem loans with business borrowers. This representation may involve a workout, a non-judicial foreclosure, a foreclosure confirmation action, a lawsuit, a bankruptcy proceeding, or sometimes, all five.

Bryan's practice focuses primarily on representing secured creditors, commercial leasing companies, and trade creditors in pursuing claims against the debtor, the collateral, and guarantors in bankruptcy, federal, and state court. He has experience in assisting creditors resolve problem loans with their borrowers, both in and out of court, and in defending lender-liability claims. He also has experience representing purchasers of real property tax liens and in defending fraudulent and preferential transfer actions in bankruptcy court.

What was your first job?
I got my first job at age 14 when I was an assistant to a construction crew. My main task was to help out in demolition work.

What advice would you give to a young student in law school?
Not to get caught up in the competitive atmosphere at your school. If you work hard and continue doing whatever got you into law school in the first place, you should end up in good shape.
