David serves as Chair of the Firm's Financial Services Litigation Group.  He routinely defends lenders in all types of litigation, including individual actions, mass actions, and class actions ranging from common law lender liability lawsuits to statutory actions under state and federal statutes, including TILA, HOEPA, FCRA, RESPA, FDCPA, FCCPA and TCPA. He has successfully litigated hundreds of matters on behalf of lenders in various forums across the Southeast.

“David Elliott is a first rate attorney. He can quickly distill the strengths and weakness of a legal challenge and efficiently, and effectively, lead us to resolution.”

David also has extensive experience in medical malpractice and personal injury litigation, including representation of blood banks in actions alleging delivery of contaminated or mislabeled blood.

David is co-author of the firm's monthly Dodd-Frank Newsletter, which highlights litigation and developments under the Dodd-Frank Act, and he writes and speaks frequently on that topic.

David is also the founder and serves as Chair of the Firm's Wellness Program, much to the amazement of those who know him.
