Jessica is a member of The Florida Bar, a certified Florida Circuit and County Court Mediator and an Arbitrator, and admitted to practice before all Florida State Courts, the United States Supreme Court, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Middle District of Florida.
Jessica received her J.D. at Tulane University School of Law in 1992, where she served as the Articles Editor for the Tulane Environmental Law Journal. She received her B.B.A., magna cum laude, from Loyola University of the South in 1989.
She is currently the Treasurer of the Equal Opportunity Section of Law for the Florida Bar; Alternate Southeast Regional Governor for the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, and Immediate Past President of the Greater Orlando Asian American Bar Association. She is also currently serving as Trustee for the Orange County Bar Association Foundation, where she also served two terms as President, one term as Vice President, and one term as Treasurer, and is a past member of the Board of Trustees for the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association. As the inaugural co-chair of the Greater Orlando Minority Mentoring Picnic, Jessica is organizing and matching students with local legal professionals to foster their coals of a legal career.
Jessica is also a member of the Orange County Bar Association, where she has served as Treasurer and Secretary; Co-Editor and columnist for The Briefs; chaired and served on numerous committees, and was awarded with three Outstanding Services Awards. She is also a member of the American Bar Association (TIPS (Title Insurance Litigation Committee) currently serving as Vice-Chair of the General Committee; Litigation; and Alternative Dispute Resolution Sections) currently serving as Co-chair of the Pretrial and Discovery Committee; and member of Central Florida Association of Women Lawyers, and Federal Bar Association. She also serves as an advisory board member for the Central Florida Gay and Lesbian Law Association, Inc.
In addition to her law practice, Jessica is involved in several community organizations, including the Junior League of Greater Orlando, Inc. She is also involved with the Winter Park and East Orange Chambers of Commerce and Leadership Winter Park.
