Lauren assists clients with a variety of corporate transactions, including entity formation, business planning, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and securities offerings.

Lauren practices in the firm’s Corporate & Tax practice group. She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she was Technical Editor of the Harvard Negotiation Law Review.  In addition, she was President of the Southern Legal Society and a member of the Harvard Mediation Program, where she served as Training Director. She received her B.A. in English, summa cum laude with Honors, from Clemson University.

  • Assessed and provided opinions of data breach implications during due diligence of prospective corporate acquisitions.
  • Developed proactive cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices for client’s use in implementing technology, security, and data breach response plans.

What was your first job?
I worked at Chick-Fil-A.

What are your hobbies?
I love anything outdoors, such as hiking, rock climbing, and skiing. I also like singing, dancing, and movies with friends.

How do you define a “good day?”
A good book and a breezy day at the beach, a hike to a waterfall, a black diamond run in Whistler, or no lines for the roller coasters at Six Flags.

How do you spend your weekend?
Relaxing with friends and family, watching football in the fall (War Eagle!), going to church, or traveling.
