Birmingham, Ala., Sept. 17, 2012 – Burr & Forman LLP is pleased to announce the launch of Environmental Law Matters, a blog published by members of the firm’s Environmental, Land Use and Planning & Zoning practice. This complements the firm’s Succeeding in Succession blog, which also launched today, and its Non-Compete and Trade Secrets Law blog, which started in April and maintains steady growth, having increased page views and subscribers by 20 percent since its inception. Environmental Law Matters is available at www.EnvironmentalLawMatters.com.
The Environmental Law Matters blog provides companies of all shapes and sizes with news and analysis of decisions, events, and developments in the law regarding regulatory and permitting matters concerning air, water, and both solid and hazardous waste on the federal, state, and local levels. It is also a resource for updates on toxic tort litigation, including suits brought by property owners alleging trespass, nuisance, class action suits, and other toxic torts, and will provide practical tips on how to avoid litigation and identify the environmental pitfalls that affect corporate and real estate transactions.
The blog is authored by Burr & Forman attorneys Ron Farley (Birmingham), Ross Forman (Birmingham), Scott Hitch (Atlanta), and Darlene Marsh (Nashville).
