Burr & Forman Continues Growth in Orlando with Addition of Ty Roofner

Burr & Forman LLP is pleased to announce that Ty Garrett Roofner has joined the firm’s Orlando office as counsel. Roofner is a corporate attorney, who counsels clients on business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and corporate financing.

Ty was previously with GreenburgTraurig in Orlando. Roofner’s addition is part of Burr & Forman’s strategic expansion in Central Florida.

Roofner represents both acquirers and targets in mergers and acquisitions, as well as private equity funds and companies seeking capital in corporate financing transactions. He also counsels emerging entities in various stages of formation, from financing through private placements of equity and/or debt investments to developing and revising business plans, structuring corporations and with general corporate matters.

Roofner earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his law degree, magna cum laude, from the Florida State University College of Law.
