Burr & Forman Named a Job Creation Leader by INC Magazine

    Inc. Magazine ranked Burr & Forman in the top 10 in the Private Sector category for the state of Alabama. The list has been published today and available at www.inc.com. The firm was recognized at an awards ceremony on December 6 in Washington, D.C. Burr & Forman also earned a spot earlier this year on the publication’s sixth annual 500|5000 list, which highlights the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.

    “The growth that we have continued to experience over the last several years, but particularly in 2012, is the direct result of feedback from our clients,” explained William Lee Thuston, managing partner of Burr & Forman. “Each office we open and each hire we make follows a careful and strategic review of our clients’ needs.     Burr & Forman’s growth over the last year has raised its firmwide attorney count to nearly 300 attorneys, up almost 20 percent in just 12 months. In October, the firm combined with Williams Schifino Mangione & Steady, P.A. in Tampa, Fla., bolstering its Southeastern footprint, and has added 50 attorneys since December 2011.
