Antitrust/Pricing Disputes

Burr & Forman represents both corporations and individuals in federal and state antitrust matters, including grand jury investigations, trials and appeals in federal and state courts, and in Federal Trade Commission proceedings.

Burr has represented both defendants and plaintiffs in private treble damage litigation, including the defense of one of the first nationwide antitrust class actions that was tried to conclusion.  Burr attorneys have also been involved in both pricing and distribution actions, and in dealership and agency termination lawsuits throughout the country.

Burr attorneys have litigated numerous pricing claims brought under state motor fuel marketing acts and the UCC, and have served as authors for the state law chapter in the American Bar Association's Antitrust Section's forthcoming publication of the Price Discrimination Handbook.
