Anthony helps clients pursue the American dream by assisting them in forming business entities, providing advice on day-to-day legal issues, drafting and reviewing contracts in the course of their business, and helping clients grow, sell, or restructure their business through mergers and acquisitions.
Anthony practices in the firm’s Corporate practice group. Anthony’s primary practice involves assisting clients in mergers and acquisitions, drafting and reviewing contracts, and providing advice on day-to-day legal issues. He is also a contributing author to Burr’s “Succeeding in Succession” Blog.
He has practiced law at Burr & Forman since 2009 and he received his J.D., cum laude, from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University where he was a member of the Dean’s List and a Presidential Scholarship recipient. He received his B.S., summa cum laude, in Finance with a Concentration in Real Estate and a Minor in Economics from the University of Alabama.
Some of his honors while at the University of Alabama include the President’s List, the Marcus Whitman Award in Finance Real Estate, which is awarded annually to the outstanding student in Finance Real Estate, and the Gladys M. Poe Award, which is presented annually to the Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration Junior with the highest grade point average. Anthony is a member of the Alabama Bar Association.
