Commercial / Corporate Litigation Consumer Finance Litigation & Compliance Product Liability

Chris is an associate in the firm's Financial Services Litigation group where he focuses on defending class action lawsuits, complex business litigation, and consumer financial services.

Chris also has experience in products liability, false advertising disputes, and government investigations. He has appeared in both federal and state courts on behalf of a variety of clients.

Prior to joining Burr, Chris worked in the Washington DC office of Goodwin Procter LLP.  Prior to entering private practice, Chris clerked for the Honorable James C. Dever III in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.  Prior to his clerkship, Chris worked as a legal extern at the Wake County District Attorney’s Office in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he helped prosecute misdemeanors and traffic offenses, and appeared on behalf of the DA in hearings and trials.
