Gennifer serves as a Partner in the firm's Financial Services group with a focus on commercial litigation and real estate claims. She assists clients in matters such as foreclosure, property disputes, fraudulent transfer claims, insurance defense and business torts.
Gennifer’s experience consists of representing creditors in foreclosure cases and workouts involving large commercial loans. She has also managed complex contract cases and property disputes from initial pleadings to final resolution. Her experience extends to assisting with tax litigation involving fraudulent transfer claims. Gennifer has represented numerous business industries including developers, insurers, lenders and retailers dealing with a variety of issues such as defense, business torts, civil rights disputes and TCPA claims.
Gennifer graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Psychology and Religious Studies from Stetson University. She then received her J.D. from Florida State University College of Law, graduating with high honors. While studying at Florida State University College of Law, Gennifer was a University Fellow and earned numerous awards including “book” awards in Property I, Property II and Constitutional Law II. There, Gennifer served as the president of the Mock Trial Team and competed on the state and national levels in numerous trial advocacy competitions, including one held by the American Bar Association where she earned a place as a National Semi-Finalist. She was also honored with the Best Advocate Award, given by the Wayne Hogan Mock Trial Intramural Competition, and the Florida State Law Review Subciter of the Year Award.
Furthermore, Gennifer is a member of the Florida Bar, Middle District of Florida, Southern District of Florida and the Orange County Bar Association. She also holds the Chapter Representative position on the Executive Board of the Central Florida Association of Women Lawyers. In addition to her professional associations, Gennifer is involved in her community as a Board Member for the Orlando Day Nursery.
