Jeff assists clients with mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, and general corporate governance issues. He has experience drafting a wide variety of agreements that meet the day-to-day legal needs of businesses of all sizes.

Jeff is a business lawyer in the firm’s Atlanta office. Jeff’s practice focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, private securities offerings, and general corporate governance issues. He has experience forming corporate entities, drafting contracts to suit a wide variety of business needs, and advising individuals about succession planning. Jeff’s regulatory work has included state and local taxation issues and the municipal advisor registration requirements under the Dodd-Frank Act.

While attending Georgia State University College of Law, Jeff was Business Editor of the Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Board. Jeff has written extensively on a variety of legal topics, including admiralty law, recent Georgia charter schools legislation, and constitutional interpretation.

Jeff previously served as the Executive Director of the Atlanta Junior Golf Association, a non-profit organization founded in 1974 that organizes golf tournaments and Rules of Golf education for children ages 7-18. He earned dual undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and Sports Management from Reinhardt University in Waleska, Georgia, where he was also a member of the men’s golf team.
