John is a business litigator with 15 years of experience, successfully representing clients across many industries in federal and state courts.
John is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group and practices in the Nashville office. He represents business clients in a wide variety of commercial disputes including business torts, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, trustee liability, non-compete agreements, trade secrets, employment and construction. He has also represented clients in the financial services industry and in matters involving product liability, catastrophic personal injuries, pharmaceutical drugs, medical devices and mechanical equipment. Before joining Burr in 2010, John defended insureds under liability and workers compensation policies with major insurance companies; individuals before professional boards; electrical cooperatives in personal injury matters throughout the state of Tennessee; and numerous Tennessee counties in Governmental Tort Liability and discrimination cases.
