Justin P. Bennett is an associate in the Tampa office of Burr & Forman, focusing on commercial litigation. Justin represents clients in various matters involving business torts, contract disputes, and general business and commercial litigation in both state and federal court.
He has experience representing and advising municipal corporations on civil rights and tort-related litigation and has extensive experience in managing large E-Discovery projects. Justin also has been involved with appeals in the Florida District Courts of Appeal and the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
While in law school, Justin served as an editor of the Stetson Law Review and served as a research assistant and head teaching assistant for federal civil procedure. He also interned for the Honorable Mary S. Scriven of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Prior to joining Burr & Forman, Justin was a summer associate at Burr & Forman and at Mimi Smith & Associates, State Farm Corporate Litigation Counsel.
