Kirk serves as Counsel in the Lending Practice Group where his practice encompasses a wide range of commercial real estate transactions for local, regional, national and international clients, including developers, lenders, pension funds, real estate investment trusts, telecommunication companies, property managers and brokers.

Prior to joining Burr & Forman, Kirk primarily represented large financial institutions in commercial real estate transactions that involved mixed-use developments, offices, hotels, and multifamily housing.

Kirk began his legal career as a Legal Honors Attorney in the Office of General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), where he provided counsel on issues involving multifamily housing, community planning and development, and public housing.
