Norman practices in the firm's General Corporate Group and Real Estate Group. In his practice, Norman routinely advises corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, banks, estates, trusts, and individuals on a variety of matters, including organization and capitalization, contract drafting and negotiations, development and implementation of complex business plans, mergers and acquisitions, acquisitions of real property, leasing of real property, land use issues, and lending transactions.

Norman practices in the firm’s offices located in Birmingham and Jackson and serves as Chair of the firm’s Business Succession Planning team as well as a member of the firm’s legal opinion committee.

Norman currently serves on the Mountain Brook Board of Zoning Adjustments and is the President of Special Equestrians, Inc., an Alabama nonprofit dedicated to offering therapeutic horseback riding to the physically, emotionally and mentally challenged. He is also the past Vice-Chairman of the City of Mountain Brook Tree Commission and currently the Vice President of the St. Andrews Society of the Middle South.

Norman is an active member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church serving as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector.  He is married to the former Kimberly Windham and they have two daughters, Riley and Lana Jane.
