Consumer Finance Litigation & Compliance Commercial / Corporate Litigation Financial Institution Disputes

Parris is an associate in the Financial Services Litigation group, focusing her practice on consumer finance litigation through defense of financial institutions in both state and federal lawsuits.

Parris represents financial institutions in a variety of civil litigation matters, including individual and class action lawsuits, filed under various state and federal statutes, such as the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Prior to joining Burr, Parris worked for Florida’s Office of the Attorney General, externed for the Office of the District Attorney in Nashville, and worked as a law clerk at a full-service law firm where she focused on the defense of federal consumer litigation.
