Real Estate Environment & Land Use

Schuyler is Counsel in the firm's Real Estate practice group where she focuses her practice on a variety of environmental and real estate matters.

Schuyler worked as an Associate General Counsel/Assistant Attorney General in the Office of General Counsel at the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) for over 11 years. She handled a variety of legal matters at ADEM, but primarily focused on permitting, compliance, and enforcement issues related to the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System.

In addition to her role as Associate General Counsel/Assistant Attorney General at ADEM, in May 2017, Schuyler also began working as Executive Counsel to the ADEM Director, and as a legislative liaison for the Department.

Following law school, Schuyler clerked for Circuit Judge William Shashy in the 15th Judicial Circuit of Alabama.

Schuyler and her husband, Bill, have a son and a daughter. They are members of First United Methodist Church in Montgomery.
