About Bret
Bret practices in the firm’s General Commercial Litigation group where he specializes in business disputes and financial services litigation. Bret’s practice focuses primarily on civil litigation, including disputes involving breach of contract, consumer finance, commercial lending and real estate.
While in law school Bret was the managing editor of the Journal of the Legal Profession. His article “The Inevitable Change of America’s Archaic Limitations on Public Ownership of Law Firms,” published at 33 J. Legal Prof. 117 (2008), won the James Smith Award for the best published student comment.
What was your first job?
I was a “cart boy” at a golf course. I worked summers at the same course throughout high school.
