About Laura
Laura is an associate in the Central Florida office where she focuses on Financial Services. She received her J.D., cum laude, from the Florida State University College of Law where she was the Executive Editor and Articles Selection Editor of the Journal of Transnational Law & Policy. She received her B.A., cum laude, in Psychology from Washington and Lee University.
What is your favorite thing about the law?
I like that law is fast-paced and that you are always learning new things.
What was your first job?
My first job was lifeguarding at the pool I grew up going to as a kid. I got paid to get a tan - it was a really great job!
What are your hobbies?
Traveling, running, spending time with my family, friends, and my dog, John Smoltz
What advice would you give to a young student in law school?
Find the best study method for you and don’t ever talk about exams after the fact.
