About Lauren
Lauren practices in the firm’s Business section, focusing on corporate and tax law. She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she was a member of the Harvard Negotiation Law Review and the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology. In addition, she was a member of the Southern Legal Society, including serving as President (2010-2011), and a member of the Harvard Mediation Program, where she served as Training Director (2009-2010). She received her B.A., summa cum laude with Honors, from Clemson University.
What was your first job?
I worked at Chick-Fil-A.
What are your hobbies?
I love anything outdoors, such as hiking, rock climbing, and skiing. I also like singing, dancing, and wine tasting with friends.
How do you define a “good day?”
A good book and a breezy day at the beach, a hike to a waterfall, a black diamond run in Whistler, or no lines for the roller coasters at Six Flags.
How do you spend your weekend?
Relaxing with friends and family, watching football in the fall (War Eagle!), going to church, or traveling.
What community projects are you involved in?
I am a member of the Birmingham Rotaract Club and a youth leader at SWITCH, the student ministry at Church of the Highlands.
