About Read
Read concentrates on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. He has significant experience in large private company transactions, industry roll-ups and other business related matters. He also serves on the boards of directors of a number of privately held companies. Read has been voted by his peers as a Georgia “Super Lawyer” in the area of mergers and acquisitions.
Read is a member of the American Bar Association, the Georgia State Bar, and formerly served on the Executive Committee, Young Lawyers Section. He is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association, Atlanta Estate Planning Council, The Lawyers Club of Atlanta and the Old War Horse Lawyers Club.
Read received his B.A. in History from the University of Georgia and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Georgia where he served on the Editorial Board of the Georgia Law Review.
