About Christi
Christi’s practice focuses on commercial real estate lending, health care lending (with an emphasis on skilled nursing, assisted living, and independent living facilities), general real estate transactions, asset-based lending, and secured transactions. Christi previously practiced with the firm’s Creditors’ Rights, Workouts and Insolvency group. Prior to law school, Christi worked in public relations and marketing for a regional hospital network in Georgia. While in law school, Christi was Writing Editor of the Cumberland Law Review and was selected as Outstanding Editor, 1999-2000.
Christi Cross-Examined
Christi and her husband, Will, are busy raising their two boys William and Thomas. Christi is an active member at Highlands United Methodist Church where she is on the Church Coordinating Council, the Altar Guildon, the Parent Council and the Board of Directors for the Child Care Center. She is a member of the Community Education Committee of the Birmingham Bar Association, and she is a past participant in Project Corporate Leadership, a leadership program of the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce. Christi enjoys mentoring students at Cumberland School of Law through their Women in Law organization, and she also assists with various fund raising projects in the community, most recently The American Heart Association. Christi also sits on the Advisory Board for Special Equestrians.
What are your hobbies? Georgia Football (Go Dawgs), reading fiction and travel.
