About Christy
Christy practices in the firm’s financial services litigation, commercial litigation and civil practice areas. She has over 8 years of experience representing developers and institutional clients in general commercial litigation matters. Currently, Christy’s practice focuses on defending large banks against allegations of Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act (FCCPA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and Fair Debt Collection Act (FDCA) violations and other consumer claims.
While in law school Christy was a member of Phi Delta Phi, made Honor Roll, the Deans List and won 4 Book Awards for achieving the highest grade in her class. She also served as a research assistant, student mentor and tutor. Additionally, Christy participated in a Federal judicial internship, serving under the Honorable Thomas Wilson in the Middle Districts of Florida.
Christy is actively involved in her community and is a graduate of Leadership Orlando. She also participated in Junior Achievement and the Orange County Bar Guardian Ad Litem program.

What advice would you give to a young student in law school?
Take advantage of this time to explore all areas of the law while you are not consumed by the billable hour.
How do you define a “good day?”
Going to sleep knowing my family is happy and healthy and that I did the best I could that day.
How do you spend your weekend?
With my husband and 2 kids enjoying family time. In the fall, Saturdays are spent at Gator football games.
