About Danielle
Danielle’s practice focuses on advising and representing general contractors, subcontractors, developers and design professionals through all manner of issues related to the construction process. Her practice activities include drafting, review and negotiation of various contract documents prior to project launch; providing counsel, representation and dispute resolution throughout the course of a project; and representation in complex litigation, mediation, and arbitration proceedings. Danielle has significant experience with the handling and successful resolution of a wide variety of construction claims, including those for breach of contract, construction/design defect, indemnity, delay, acceleration, and termination.
Danielle is a member of the Georgia Bar, Missouri Bar, United States Supreme Court, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, Georgia Supreme Court, and the Georgia Court of Appeals.
She is also a member of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers (GAWL), and the Defense Research Institute (DRI). Danielle was appointed to, and serves on, the Board of Directors for the Construction Law Section of the Atlanta Bar Association where she is additionally involved as a member of the Litigation Section. Danielle is also a member of the American Bar Association (Litigation and Construction Litigation Sections) where she is actively involved with the Forum on the Construction Industry. Among other things, Danielle’s work with the Forum includes her participation on the Steering Committee of Division 5 (Contract Negotiation and Performance), her involvement in Division 8 (International Contracting), and her participation as a contributor to a construction law book currently in production by the Young Lawyers Division of the Forum.
Danielle has authored several papers and has spoken many times to a diverse group of attendees on various topics related to construction law, including presentations to ICLE of Georgia, Division 5 of the ABA Forum on the Construction Industry, and to client groups.
Danielle received her J.D. in 1994 from Washburn University School of Law. She earned her B.A. in Communications/Theatre in 1991 from the University of Missouri.
