About Gary
Gary specializes in antitrust and distribution law. He has represented clients in antitrust and dealer termination civil actions, as well as Federal Trade Commission proceedings and federal and state grand jury investigations. Gary also has significant experience in handling commercial disputes, product liability cases and bid protests. Gary is currently listed in the national publication The Best Lawyers in America in the antitrust area. He is licensed to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. Court of International Trade.
Gary has been with Burr & Forman LLP since 1979. He serves on the firm’s Executive Committee, and is Chairman of the Manufacturing Industry Group.
Gary in the community
Gary has served on the City of Mountain Brook Board of Education for 10 years, the last 3 of which as Chairman. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Alabama Goodwill Industries, Inc. and the UAB Cancer Center’s Supporters organization. Gary was a founding member of the Board of Trustees of the McWane Science Center.
Gary was a member of the 1997 Class of Leadership Birmingham and is a member of the 2006 Class of Leadership Alabama.
