For the past five years, I have been a member of the Board of Directors for Girls Incorporated of Central Alabama. I am most proud of my work on this Board because the programs sponsored at Girls Incorporated encourage and promote girls to be “strong, smart and bold.” I believe that I also serve as an example to those girls of a woman who is likewise strong, smart and bold. I am also a member of the Junior Board of Directors for the YWCA of Central Alabama.

What are your hobbies? My hobby, which is actually turning into a second career, is interior decorating. It started off as something I did for myself and my parents; now I actually have friends and colleagues who call on me for advice when purchasing furniture or decorating their new homes.
