About Jason
Jason practices in the firm’s Business section, focusing on Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy matters. He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and received the 2001 ABI Medal of Excellence. Jason is a former member of the Executive Committee of the Birmingham Bar Association’s Bankruptcy & Commercial Law Section and the current Chair Elect. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors for Hands on Birmingham and serves as Secretary.
Jason received his J.D. in 2000 and his B.A., cum laude, in 1997, both from The University of Alabama. He served as both Internet Editor and Junior Editor of The Journal of Legal Profession and was a member of the Bench & Bar Legal Honor Society and Phi Delta Phi.
Jason served as a Law Clerk to The Honorable Tamara O. Mitchell, Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Alabama from August 2000-August 2001.
