About Ginger
Ginger practices in both the firm’s Litigation and Labor and Employment Law sections. Ginger regularly handles business and commercial disputes including defending class action litigation for several Insurance clients, manufacturers and cable companies. She also specializes in many product liability design areas including defending fire cases nationwide for several clients. Ginger also has extensive experience with railroad and labor and employment matters including trying numerous FELA and Title Seven cases to verdict. She has also argued before numerous appellate courts.
Ginger is the firm’s Co-Head of Litigation and has previously served as head of the firm’s Product Liability section and has been a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar, the State Bar of Georgia and the Birmingham Bar Association.
Ginger has been serving as President of the Homewood City Council since 2000, and is also a member of Leadership Birmingham. Ginger was recently elected Secretary and Diversity Officer for the Torts, Trial & Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association. Prior to that, she served on the TIPS Council. She is currently the Director of the National Trial Academy held every year in Reno, Nevada. In addition, she has taught at several Trial Academies, including the Alabama Defense Lawyers Trial Academy.
Ginger earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Cumberland School of Law, and received her B.A. from the University of Alabama. During law school, she was articles editor of the Cumberland Law Review, an oralist on the National Moot Court Team and a member of both the Order of Barristers and Curia Honoris.

The challenge of presenting your particular facts with a court’s interpretation of the law.
What was your first job?
I was a mail room clerk at Allstate Insurance.
What are your hobbies?
Gardening and reading.
How do you define a “good day?”
Everyday is a good day and some are great!
How do you spend your weekends?
Generally at one of my childrens’ events or by the water - lake or beach.
