About John
John joins the firm following a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Circuit Judge William H. McDermott, deceased, of Mobile. His current practice involves the assistance of clients with personal injury, real estate, and construction defect litigation, insurance coverage questions, and creditor’s rights. John’s list of representative clients includes State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company and several other South Alabama area businesses.
John, a native of Montgomery, Alabama, is a graduate of the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, where he was a member of their renowned National Trial Team and Chairman of the Cordell Hull Speakers Forum. Prior to law school, John attended Troy University where he received degrees in Political Science and Business. During and after law school, John worked for both of Alabama’s United States Senators in various roles and capacities.
John is a frequent speaker on Uninsured Motorist coverage law at CLE’s throughout Alabama, and co-author of Facing the Aftermath, a survey of insurance coverage law affecting the Gulf Coast region following Hurricane Katrina.
