About John
John practices in the firm’s Creditors Rights & Bankruptcy group. John frequently represents clients in both state and federal courts and is licensed to practice in Alabama (2000) and Florida (2006). John is also admitted before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Alabama and the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida. John is a member of the Business and Litigation sections of the American Bar Association, the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law sections of the Birmingham Bar Association, and is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute.
Prior to joining Burr & Forman, John served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps with the Fleet Marine Forces. John currently holds a reserve commission in the U.S. Marine Corps (Major, USMCR).
John earned his J.D. in 2000 from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. He received his B.S. in Finance, summa cum laude, from Auburn University in 1996.
