About Justin
Justin practices in the firm’s Litigation section with an emphasis in the areas of Transportation and Maritime Law.
Justin earned his J.D., in 2008 from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, where he served as Research Editor of the Cumberland Law Review. While in law school, Justin was named a Scholar of Merit and a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Justin received a B.S. in Biology from the University of the South in 2001.
Prior to becoming an associate, Justin worked for one of the world’s leading global clinical development organizations as a Lead Clinical Operations Specialist.
Justin is a member of the Alabama State Bar.
What community projects are you involved in?
I am an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 63 in Mountain Brook, AL. I have also been on the Committee of 25 (the junior board) for Girls Inc. of Central Alabama since 2006.
What was your first job?
Stockboy for my local hardware store in Pittsburgh, PA
What are your hobbies?
Playing golf, watching TV, watching Pittsburgh pro sports teams (Steelers, Penguins, and yes, even the Pirates)
What advice would you give to a young student in law school?
Everyone will give you a different idea on how to study for law school, I think the best advice that you should take from that is that everyone has their own process for studying, make sure you find what works best for you, and stick with it.
How do you spend your weekends?
Playing golf, doing some work around the house, and cheering on the Steelers.
