About Kasee
Kasee practices in the firm’s Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy practice group. Prior to joining the firm, she clerked for The Honorable Margaret A. Mahoney, Chief Judge, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Alabama. Kasee received her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law, where she served as Lead Articles Editor for the Law & Psychology Review. In addition, she was the Chairman of the Moot Court Board and a member of the Tax Law Moot Court Team. Kasee received her B.A., cum laude, from Washington & Lee University. She is licensed to practice law in Alabama and Mississippi.
What community projects are you involved in?
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Team in Training; Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Man & Woman of the Year Nominating Committee; Dumas Wesley Community Gardens
What was your first job?
Farming with my family. Although I love and respect farming, I am much better at being a lawyer!
What are your hobbies?
Running, Cajun Food, and Gardening
What advice would you give to a young student in law school?
Talk to your professors outside of class. They are an incredible resource!
How do you spend your weekend?
Watching football! What else!?
