About Ron
Ron advises clients in employment policies and practices, and represents and advises management regarding Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, USERRA, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, the Sarbanes-Oxley whistleblower provisions, workers’ compensation retaliatory discharge statutes, and various other federal and state statutes. Ron consults companies dealing with union campaigns, union representatives, and OSHA investigations and defends companies before the National Labor Relations Board and OSHA. Ron has given numerous talks to companies and at seminars on labor and employment law.
He is a member of the Alabama State Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Alabama and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He is a member of the Alabama, Birmingham, and American Bar Associations. While in law school, Ron served on the Editorial Board of the Duke Law Journal.
