On April 2, 2010, several petitioning creditors filed an involuntary Chapter 11
petition against Lydia Cladek, Inc., Case No. 10-bk-02800-PMG, in the United States
Bankruptcy Court, Middle District of Florida, Jacksonville Division.
April 5, 2010 - Voluntary Petition of Lydia Cladek, Inc.
Subsequently, on April 5, 2010, Lydia Cladek, Inc. filed the instant voluntary Chapter
11 petition.
April 7, 2010 - Filing of Emergency Motion to Consolidate
On April 7, 2010, several creditors filed an Emergency Motion to Consolidate Case
No. 10-bk-02800-PMG and this case along with an Emergency Motion to Appoint a Chapter
11 Trustee.
April 12, 2010 - Entry of Order granting motion to consolidate
On April 12, 2010, the Court entered its Order Granting Motion to Consolidate providing
that the Voluntary Case shall be the lead case. On that date, the Court also entered
its Order Granting Motion to Appoint Chapter 11 Trustee appointing Michael Phelan
as Chapter 11 Trustee.
November 19, 2010 - Lydia Cladek INDICTED
On November 19, 2010, the United States of America indicted Lydia I. Cladek in a criminal case
filed in the United States District Court, for the Middle District of Florida, Jacksonville Division,
with case number 3:10-cr-277-J-99TJC-TEM. The Indictment
includes counts for attempt and conspiracy to commit mail fraud, fraud by wire, radio, or television,
and frauds and swindles.
