Bryance Metheny, partner in the labor and employment group, is presenting at the 56th Annual Human Resources Management Conference held October 21 and 22, 2010, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
His presentation entitled, “Throwing the Flag on Workplace Abuse: Bullying, Sexual/Hostile Work Environment, Harrassment” will cover the issue of how the failure to understand and implement policies and procedures to prevent violence and harassment can lead to limitless liability for independent actions of employees wholly unrelated to the work. This presentation prepares employers and arms them with the weapons to battle violence and harassment and avoid exposure to expensive claims.
