The “Top Women” recognition honors Birmingham women who are key leaders in their companies or organizations and have reached career pinnacles. In its annual “Who’s Who in Law” feature, the publication highlights notable leaders in the legal community.

April practices in the firm’s Corporate and Tax Practice Group, representing clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions, financing, corporate governance, franchising, and antitrust matters. She counsels business clients through all stages of their life cycle, including advising start-ups as well as counseling on exit strategies through negotiated acquisitions. April has been active in the Birmingham Bar Association and several Birmingham organizations, including the Rotary Club of Birmingham, the MS Society, and Alabama Capital Network.
