Burr & Forman is pleased to announce Partner Bhumi Patel has been named one of the Grand Strand's 50 Most Influential by B2B The Grand Strand magazine. The inaugural list honors the region's most influential people. The selection of 50 men and women is a result of staff research and community nominations.

At Burr & Forman, Bhumi counsels companies, large and small, in navigating various aspects of real estate and business transactions. She regularly represents lenders and serves as counsel for several area banks, where she reviews real estate title work, supervises real estate closings, and drafts loan documents. Her practice also involves the drafting and negotiating contracts and leases for numerous business owners.

Bhumi is the 2024 South Carolina Women Lawyers Association president and a board member of the Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development Corporation (MBREDC) and the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce.
