Burr & Forman Grows Corporate & Tax Practice with the Addition of Charles R. Curley, Jr.

Burr & Forman is pleased to announce Charles R. Curley, Jr. has joined the firm's Jacksonville office as a partner in the Corporate & Tax practice group.

Charles's practice focuses on U.S. and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations, joint ventures and investments, debt and equity offerings, strategic transactions, tax planning, tax-exempt organizations, and general corporate matters.

Charles advises clients on a wide range of complex corporate transactions and has over $60 billion of transaction experience in a broad base of sectors, particularly within the financial technology sector.

Before joining Burr & Forman LLP, Charles served as the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Cannae Holdings, Inc., General Counsel of Foley Family Wines, and Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel – M&A and Corporate of Fidelity National Information Services, Inc.

Charles earned his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida, his J.D. from Mercer University School of Law, and his B.A. from Florida State University.
