Burr and Forman is pleased to announce that Jacqueline Simms-Petredis, Managing Partner of the firm's Tampa office, has been named to Florida Trend's 'Legal Elite Notable Women Leaders in Law' list.

Jacqueline serves as a Partner in the firm's Financial Services practice group focusing on financial litigation and compliance. She assists clients in foreclosures, bankruptcy adversary proceedings, compliance issues, and direct filed lawsuits.

Jacqueline advises clients and in-house counsel in litigation under the Truth in Lending Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Florida Consumer Collections Practices Act, Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, among others.

Florida Trend invited peer nominations from across the state to recommend women leaders in law who met specific methodology and criteria parameters. Florida Trend vetted nominations, and the most noteworthy candidates were selected based on their outstanding leadership, mentorship, vision for change, and growth.
